Job Description

The Assistant coach joining us is responsible for supporting the head coach in all aspects of team preparation and performance

Job responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting the coach and head coach in planning, organizing, and conducting training sessions and team practices.

  • Analyzing individual and team performances during matches and training sessions.

  • Providing feedback and advice to players on their technique and performance while maintaining the record on our app.

  • Assisting in team selection and strategy development.

  • Assisting in the preparation of game plans and scouting reports on upcoming opponents.

  • Monitoring and analyzing player fitness levels and creating individualized training programs to address weaknesses.

  • Collaborating with other coaches, medical staff, and support staff to ensure the team is well-prepared and in peak condition for matches.

  • Identifying potential talent and working with the coach to develop a long-term plan for their development.

  • Attending team meetings and contributing to discussions on team strategy and performance.

  • Representing the team at events and promotional activities.

All you need is:

  • Experience coaching at the highest level of cricket, with a track record of success in growing individuals and teams.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work successfully with players, parents, and coworkers.

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to manage a team of assistant coaches and work collaboratively with other academy staff members.

  • A passion for cricket and a commitment to spreading the sport and nurturing players at all levels.

  • A valid coaching license from a recognized cricket regulating authority.
