Job Description

1. Content Creation: Develop compelling and cricket-centric content for various social media platforms, including text, images, videos, polls, and interactive posts.

2. Community Engagement: Monitor and actively engage with followers, fans, and cricket enthusiasts across all social media channels. Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.

3. Platform Management: Manage all aspects of CricKingdom's social media presence, including scheduling and publishing posts, monitoring analytics, and staying up-to-date with platform updates and trends.

4. Campaign Execution: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute social media campaigns and promotions aligned with CricKingdom's objectives, including contests, giveaways, and partnerships.

5. Brand Advocacy: Identify and cultivate relationships with cricket influencers, ambassadors, and brand advocates to amplify CricKingdom's reach and engagement within the cricket community.

6. Performance Analysis: Track and analyze social media metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of campaigns, identify areas for improvement, and report insights to the management team regularly.

7. Content Curation: Curate relevant cricket news, updates, and trending topics to share with our audience, positioning CricKingdom as a go-to source for cricket-related content and discussions.

8. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as content creators, graphic designers, and marketing strategists, to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all social media platforms.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

  • On-hand 2 years of experience

  • Passion for cricket and a deep understanding of the sport, its players, and its fan base.

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for a sports-related brand, preferably within the cricket industry.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.

  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in social media marketing, particularly within the sports industry.

  • Graphic design and video editing skills is a must.

  • Familiarity with cricket-related platforms and communities (e.g., CricBuzz, ESPNcricinfo, cricket forums) is desirable.

  • Strong knowledge of SEO principles and how they apply to social media content. E

  • Experience with Google Ads, including campaign creation, management, and optimization.
